No TA today...

Got an email no TA today = (
I am so sad...

That leaves tomorrow (my birthday) if we don't get it tomorrow we will have to wait till after the trade show and leave possibly May 7th = (

So disappointed

I know it is in Gods time but this is so hard in so many ways...

OK so I am praying to leave vary soon and I need to make sure my plans for posting on my blog work out so this is a test !!!
I received an email on Wednesday saying if we received our TA by Tuesday next week we will leave on April 2nd NEXT FRIDAY!!!!
if not we will have to wait and leave on May 7th I realy thought I was ok with this,It was at least a date. But as the week has gone on and no TA, I have to say I was in tears today= (
IT would mean 6 more weeks of waiting...6 more Weeks?????

Oh how I wish we could be celebrating with her!
I have been thinking allot about it and really feel for her foster family! If they have a good relationship, how hard it would be to let her go. So in one sense I am sad we did not make it to China for her birthday. I really thought we would = (
On the other hand she is spending it with the people who she knows as her family and she will go the the orphanage and have cake and celebrate there. So for her it will most likely be a good birthday!
I asked the lady who I ordered the cake from and got the updated sizes, if she knew if Lily was still in the foster home or if she had been moved back to the orphanage. She email the orphanage and asked, they said she is still in the foster home!
Please pray we get our TA this week!!!! I am asking this because if not I fear we will have to wait until after May 5th...
My birthday is coming up and this would be the BEST gift ever!!!!

I got updated sizes!!!

I ordered a cake and a gift to be sent to Lily for her Birthday and I got an email today saying she has sent the stuff and got updated sizes for me!!!! So tiny! She will be 4 this week end!

32.9in tall
23.5 lbs
and her feet are 4.7in!
So it looks like 18mo is the size I will be packing!!! As soon as I get that TA!!! = )
I am hoping to get pictures of her and the cake!! maybe next week! There has been a slow trickle of TAs so we are moving up the list!!!

10 months

The weather has been so nice in the 60's. The snow is melting and we have been enjoying some out door walks!

These are from the National History Day event Downtown

Just some of the students from our school who are moving on to the State competition!

Today is 10 months since started loving our daughter! It probably started a little bit earlier like the day I saw her sweet face! But officially 10 since the paper pregnancy started! I believe she was in my heart long before that! I just cant wait until the day she is placed in my arms! The day I hear her voice and smell and feel her!

This weekend was also districts for National History Day. Jack and a class mate did a documentary and the worked so hard on it. Lots and Lots of hours. Well their hard work got them to districts and they got 3rd place!!!! Now they move on to the state competition in Columbus!!! We are so proud of them!!! Our little school has 7 entrees going on to states!!! They can go all the way to nationals and if the win they could get scholarships to Case Western Reserve!!

God has really blessed me this week with his peace! I have been praying it will continue the rest of this journey!! I am also praying for a big week of TA's there were 5 last week which is not the big batch we were hoping for, but at least we got 5 it had been almost 4 weeks since the last one.

OUCH!!!

Big Ouch!
We went for our Immunizations today. 1 for me, 2 for Mike, 3 for Jack and Poor Kai had 5 = ( and not one tear from the bunch!! $428.00 ouch to the check book = { I did not think we had so many to do. Kai doctor had said because he was older he did not need some of the second doses. But the lady at the health dept made a good point that he would need proof as he gets older and even for collage, SO we got them all. I will be turning it in to insurance and hope to get at least some back.
I got a call from our agency and was told to contact the in-China rep and introduce my self and give her the heads up we are waiting for TA!!! I did and asked if we would be able to visit the orphanage and she said we would and we would meet the foster mom there! It is an expense we were not expecting but we feel it will be important! Keep praying things keep on moving along!!!! And please pray for Lily as she maybe or will soon be sent back to the orphanage.

Ok so now we are officially waiting for TA!!!! Day 1 !!!!! I was told our papers have been sent to CC@@ and now we wait. The last family waited 4 weeks but it varies. If it does not come very soon we will not travel till after May 5th. = ( I sent Lily a birthday cake and toy this weekend. How I wish we could have been there for her Birthday. But I still have a little hope of traveling in April. The sun is shinning and I am really trying to focus on God these days. I have faith he has the day picked out and it will be perfect. Not perfect, that everything will be happy and it will be smooth with no problems, but that he is preparing our hearts for the day he has chosen. We pray daily that he is preparing Lily, but we know this may not be as smooth as Kai's and have tried to prepare our selves for that. We know the Lord will be with us!

FedEx came today

So we got our passports and visas back and the travel folder today! Really glad to have them back it was stressful having them being delivered all over the place. As the FedEx guy was handing me the package he said is this a new addition? I was shocked he would know I thought did he see me taking a picture of him? or was it that I had the door open before he was even to the walk? or was it that he read the address? I was just about to beam "yes we hope to travel soon!!!" But he must have noticed the long pause and looked up and around the porch we had put on the front of our house a few years ago and said "I don't remember this porch". Oh well yes we did put it on a few years ago. hmmmm I don't get FedEx packages so why would he remember it???? Did he possibly deliver Kai's paperwork 3 years ago???? 5 days till the 8th then once we get our Article 5 the wait for TA starts!!! I know I just cant stand it any more!!! I started packing or should I say making a mess of Lily's room. I brought down the suite cases and I promised my self I would pack lite!!! We shall see how that works out!

Visas and travel package on the way FedEx!

I got an email from our agency today saying, "to all our families traveling soon" boy did that sound good!!!! They wanted our t-shirt sizes, they are sending us t-shirts to wear in China. I sent an email back asking about our visas, and She replied they were on the way FedEx!! This really means nothing, but I can hardly stand this wait, so anything to look forward to is a good thing!!! The next thing we are waiting for that is important is our Article 5. We should be getting that on March 8th. Then the LAST thing TA!!! and it should come anywhere form 1 to 4 weeks the average being 20days. So keep on praying!!!
