Fishing, friends and frosting!

This photo should be at the bottom ! It is a picture from Cedar Point with the M family! We had such a fantastic time!!!

93 years young!!! Mikes grandma is the youngest 93 year old I have ever met!!! I pray I will have half her energy at 65!!! She lives on her own and drives to exercise class 2 times a week and plays cards with the Old people in nursing homes every day!!

We pray she will continue to have many more healthy years!!!

Her goal is to be on the 100 years old smuckers jar !!

Took the kids fishing one evening Jack caught a frog! The poor thing jumped in the water as jack was reeling in and it landed right on his hook! Ouch!!! It got his little arm : ( But we were able to get the hook out!

Kai did well he got a fish!

And our first timer got 4 and a few were large mouth bass!!!

We got an email a month or so ago from a family we met on our trip to China fro Kai in 2007. They said they were going to be coming our way on a short trip!!! So we met with them at Cedar Point. We had a wonderful day!!! I cant tell you how blessed we were to meet this wonderful family and to be able to spend the day together again was just awesome!!!

This is Kai and Sweet L they were both adopted in 2007! We met her family on the way I think in Chicago airport! and we were able to spent much of our trip together!!! They had a son and daughter just about Jacks age. And having people his own age in China was a wonderful thing for Jack. It was great for us to because they were great kids and got along well!

They hugged and started holding hand as soon as we got there!

They are so Cute!!!!!!

It is not often that we meet people we can be so familiar with, open with, and enjoy. We are very blessed to have the M family in our lives!! G you are such a beautiful lady! Thank you for a wonderful day!!!

Date with the Judge!

Yep today was the day that is not super important to us but one of the last steps. In Ohio you have to go to court and have a paper signed. I will officially be able to get Shamiao's Ohio Birth certificate.
The judge was really nice and because it takes about 30seconds to sign, he showed the kids all around the court room.

So cute!

and handsome!

Took a few shots in the yard in her pretty dress!

I also wanted to mention the family that we traveled with when we adopted Kai, is going back for 2 beautiful girls!!! They were in the process for #7 and fell in love. China has given them permission to bring both home this fall!!!
Please check out their blog http://kidjunkies.blogspot.com/!!! or "A full Quiver" in my list of blogs. I have a button that says Greens adoption "Buy a toy bless a Life" Please take a peek we bought one and it is great!!! They would make wonderful Christmas gifts!!! It helps their adoptions and supports 2 other great organizations. Click the button and you can read all about it.

Prayers to for "Lucy" now Teressa She has a family and is home but needs a miracle!!! You can check out her blog http://ourplacecalledhome.blogspot.com/ Please pray for her!!!

He is home!

Here are a few of the pictures from his Missions trip to Peru!!!

Some of the pictures are his but his camera got filled with sand playing soccer with the kids on the third day. The rest are a member of the team who did a really GREAT job!!!
This was Jacks favorite place it was the city on the hill

Jack said these kids followed him around!
and that the girls loved him...

Doing skits in a school

Sharing in a church

Part of the team after a soccer game, and I heard that these 5yr olds played really good soccer and schooled one of our varsity players!!!
Over looking the city on the hill...
They passed out over 10,000 books. He said his favorite part was spending time with the kids! He wishes they could have spent more time with them. I believe it was a great experience for Jack. He tells be bits and pieces here and there but he is a man of not too many details... He says to me the other day Mom the worst part of traveling is that when you get back people want to ask you hundreds of questions... So I guess I will find out more on Sunday when the team talks about it in church! I asked him if he will do it again and he said yes!!! I am so grateful to have him home!!!
And thank the Lord they were able to reach so many kids on their trip!!!
