Garden time with a few visitors

Green beans ,cucumbers, zucchini, and summer squash! Lots in our basket today! It was great to pick something other than lettuce! We have about had our fill of lettuce, and I have given tons away. Note to me: plant less lettuce next year! Kai and I enjoyed picking and eating green beans and all the yummy veggies. It got really hot so we took a dip in the pool to cool off! We had a few visitors in the garden, some we were very happy to see! (little miss lady bug) In the adoption world seeing a lady bug means good luck! And she was, I received an e-mail that our corrected home study was sent to AAC! I am hoping today I get a call from my Dr. to pick up the last of my Dossier! I REALLY want to send it this week!!!!!!

Some time at the park

We took Kai to the park and He caught his first fish!! He was so excited! We have gone fishing with him but so far the only thing he has caught was a feather. We always joke about it. I think he was shocked, he laughed and laughed.

Sending care package

Well I have it almost ready!! I made 3 photo books this time one to take with me one to send now and one to send later just in case the first does not get there. I spent a lot of time making them because I saw how Kaitreasured his! He Knew who we were and it was a treasure to him it is still on his dresser and he will look at it from time to time. The pictures above are just a few pages and the dress is 24months I hope to get a picture of her in it to see how big she is. (HOPE). I have a few more pages in her photo book and some stickers to add, but I want to send it off early this week. Hopefully with the rest of my Dossier papers!!! We had a slight hold up because My accountant did not think he had to notarize his letter even thought it said he did??? and my home study agency needs to fix one page to add her special need and I did not realize the medical test all had to be with in 6 months. So we have to get those done on Monday and hopefully by Wednesday I can send it all off. Then what you may be thinking... guess

Yep wait! But I must say this has been moving so quickly compared to Kai's! I will be trying to get a call in to the orphanage or some pictures taken or something while I am waiting so patiently ... =)

Oooo Blueberries =]

We went blueberry picking today! Oh how we LOVE blueberries! It is MRI time for Kai again. I scheduled it for Aug 20th before school starts. I tossed around the idea of trying it with out sedation but 30min is a long time to have to lay perfectly still! Too long for a 5 year old. I just wish we did not have to do sedation and out of our insurance network :( Thank you Lord for the beautiful weather and a great pickin partner!! 10LBS Kai and I picked!!!
