My pictures are in reverse order
We went to the orphanage on Thursday. I was worried this would not go well. the picture above is on the way home. It is funny I take lots of pictures and I either get her not smiling or giving me the peace sign. I crack up I think oh what a cute picture that will be and as soon as I snap the shot she sticks up those fingers = ) and she is smiling most of the time so it is funny I get so many that she is not. She is really funny and has no fear!!! climbs on everything and jumps!

There was 7 of us and and we had tons of food left over the cost was $15.00 can you believe that and it was very good!!!

These are pics of the orphanage it was very nice very clean. they said they have about 400 kids one floor are kids who come for school not orphans. It looks like a very big school rooms for different ages.

I love this picture it is a picture Mike took of the room Lily slept in and you can see her reflection in the window.

This was her bed. She was in foster can for 1 year and she was sent back for 10 days before we came to get her.

This is her foster mom she was very happy to see her. she cried when she left but only for a short time and then was fine. She did not want to go to any of the workers she only wanted me to hold her = ) I think she was very well taken care of!!!

I also have pictures of her foster sister and was told the foster mom had a teen age son and daughter. This was the entrance. I left feeling very good. The children look very god and it was so different than where Kai was!!! They all seemed to really care about the kids. It was a good day!! Lily even climbed up and sat on Mikes lap and was climbing back and forth from me to Jack. Not good in that she will think it is ok to climb around in the van at home, but these were very important bonding moments!!!

Today has been a clean the room and let the little kids play in the play room day so far. Mike and Jack went to the trade fair. My agency sent me an email saying they did not get the money I sent them = ( I cant believe it I overnighted it before we left so they should have gotten it before we left!!!!! Talk about stress I wish I would have thought to leave that info with my office
I guess my Dad spent an hour at my house looking for it. Good news is he found it. So hopefully It will just be a matter of tracking the package and finding it or having to put a stop payment on it and re issueing it. I guess playing it safe and not carrying all that money did not pay off. Just Thankful my dad found the tracking # and the bank check receipt!!!! It has been Cold the lst few days and I really only packed 1 cool weather outfit each really hoping it warms up a little!!! Tomorrow is a paperwork day and the zoo in the afternoon. I had to break down and get a stroller I really wanted to try to only carry Lily for bonding reasons but my back is saying no way! With all the trips to the bathroom and having to hold her over the squatty potties I am really getting a work out!! But loving it!!!!

Starting a new day

Sorry my post have been very short, but I have very little time. Lily only lets me care for her at the moment and with the peeing thing and her not feeling well... She is so cute and very smart. She had a rough evening last night with a few out burst. I just feel so bad she is having to deal with being sick on top of this life change. She is really doing well considering. She is a controller. and we will have our work cut out for us, but considering what has been going on. I think it is understandable. I want her to trust and feel secure so we are allowing lots of stuff... She is whinny and I am used to boys so I am hoping some of that goes away with her illness or that the Lord prepares me and gives me ear plugs oops I meant Patience. I adore her and I am so glad the Lord has blessed us!!! I must get ready to go now but I really wanted to say a few things about our sweet pea. We are going back to the medical building to have her urine and possible shots and check her TB (which looks fine thank GOD) and then we are going to visit the orphanage. We are feeling a bit stressed about this... Prayers please!!!!

We are doing great the earth quake was not near us. We are south. near Hong Kong. We went to the Baiyun Mountain today. we took a cable car to the top and walked down. It was very beautiful. very tropical. We went to the clinic to get Lily's next 2 shots but she had a fever so they would not give them to her. I think she has a urine infection. She pees very 30 to 60 min. This is very challening we have hit every squatty potty and half the sidewalks in this town. And I am very glad it is ok to pee any where here. more later on Mikes Birthday!!!

Finalizing the adoption!!! She is ours for good!! She was up and down all evening think she was sore from shots. only wanted mom, which was hard on Jack he adores her. We all need a good nights SLEEP !!!

Doing great!!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you all know we are doing really great. Lily is so funny!! she loves to be the center of attention! imagine that!! in this family! She had had her medical exam today she seems to know the routine as soon as the doctor pulled out the stethoscope she pulled her shirt up. She had to have 2 shots and the TB test and tomorrow she will have to have 2 more. Pray pray pray that the TB test comes back negative!!!! Lily is very smart and love to do everything on her own! Jack is really enjoying her and supporting Kai in his changing roll. Kai is doing really great too he loves being a big brother!!! We have been doing allot of paperwork and things. I will try to post more pictures tonight. It is hard because I have to resize them and email them to my Dad. I am going to try to send them through Jacks email to my work computer and long on ... I am still having a hard time sleeping. But Mike Jack and Kai are being very helpful with everything so things are going good. I hope tonight I get a good nights sleep. I am so blessed!!! The Lord has given me such a great husband and great kids!
